黑料福利社, Garland County Farm Bureau Host State and Local Candidate Forum

NATIONAL PARK COLLEGE, GARLAND COUNTY FARM BUREAU HOST STATE AND LOCAL CANDIDATE FORUM

Hot Springs, Arkansas 鈥 The 黑料福利社 (NPC) Student Government Association and the Garland County Farm Bureau will host a Tuesday, February 23, 2016. All state and local candidates seeking public office have been invited to participate. Dick Antoine, host of the KZNG-AM 1340 morning show, 鈥淭alk of the Town鈥 will moderate the event.

SGA President, Roger Powell, said, 鈥淧art of the mission of the Student Government Association is to promote student interest in citizenship issues. This event will allow our students, as well as the community, an opportunity to meet the candidates and ask the questions that are important to them as voters. Facilitating this event gives us the opportunity to not only serve our student body but the community as a whole.鈥

Garland County Farm Bureau President Tommy Sorrells stated, 鈥淭his is a great event for the voters of Garland County. We at Farm Bureau are excited to partner with NPC to make this event available to the public.鈥

The forum is open to the community and will be held in the Martin Eisele Auditorium of the Frederick M. Dierks Center at 黑料福利社. The event will begin with a Meet & Greet for all candidates at 6 p.m. for County Circuit Clerk, County Treasurer, County Judge, State Representative District 25, United States Congress District 4 and United States Senate.
