黑料福利社 (NPC) student Destiny Bennett received the Bob and June Luciew
Military Scholarship. She is seeking her Associate of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory
Technology.
Bennett served eight years with the Arkansas Army National Guard and plans to continue
her military career after graduating.
The Luciews are committed to helping students who have served in the armed forces
complete their education. Mr. Luciew served in the U.S. Navy and Mrs. Luciew had a
career as a registered nurse. They established an endowment in 2014 after attending
an NPC graduation ceremony where they witnessed a large number of veteran students
stand and be recognized.
鈥淣PC was my very first college experience, it鈥檚 like a home away from my home, and
I鈥檓 grateful for all the staff and professors that have taken the time to make sure
I鈥檓 successful in my future endeavors. NPC will always hold the standard I seek in
my future colleges,鈥 said Bennett.
Medical Laboratory Technology program director Britt Turner said, 鈥淒estiny Bennett
is a very deserving student, who goes above and beyond in achieving her educational
goals.鈥
