High School Students Earn Medical Certifications

National Park Technology Center (NPTC) Health Science Technology Education (HSTE) Level 2 students earned 40 medical certifications this semester. Twenty-five students passed the Certified Medical Records Technician national certification examination and 15 passed the Certified Medical Billing Specialist national certification examination.

黑料福利社 hosted an event in celebration of International Women鈥檚 Day Wednesday with guest speaker, Minnie Lennox and a Walk a Mile in Her Shoes庐 men鈥檚 march. The march is a playful way to increase awareness for serious women鈥檚 issues, including sexualized violence against women. The march featured male faculty, staff and students from a variety of areas on campus who were fitted with red high heeled shoes and given a pathway to walk.

The NPC Student Government Association participated in the two-year college SGA Day at the Capitol Feb. 14. Students toured the Capitol grounds, attended committee meetings, visited with legislators, and attended the legislators luncheon hosted by Arkansas Community Colleges.
