黑料福利社 Hosts Nursing And Health Sciences Honors Day, Awarding Over $180,000 in Scholarships

黑料福利社 (NPC) held its annual Nursing and Health Sciences Honors Day April 16, recognizing student achievement and the generosity of our philanthropic community. The event celebrated nursing and health sciences students while distributing more than $180,000 in scholarships. A total of 74 scholarships were awarded to 200 recipients.

Janice Ivers, dean of nursing and health sciences, expressed appreciation for the continued support of donors.

鈥淎lthough I was unable to attend this year鈥檚 event, I am incredibly proud of our students and deeply grateful to our donors who make this celebration possible,鈥 Ivers said. 鈥淓ach year, this event highlights the dedication and accomplishments of our students while recognizing the generosity that helps them achieve their goals.鈥

Ivers also emphasized the impact of scholarship support.

鈥淭hese scholarships provide meaningful financial assistance, but they also send a clear message to our students鈥攖hat their goals matter and that their community believes in them,鈥 she added. 鈥淭hat kind of encouragement stays with them as they move forward in their careers, and we hope it inspires them to give back in the future.鈥

The event also highlighted the range of nursing and allied health programs offered at NPC, including Registered Nursing, Licensed Practical Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Medical Laboratory Technology, Health Information Technology, and Emergency Medical Services.

The Nursing and Health Sciences Honors Day reflects the collective commitment of faculty, staff, clinical partners and donors, all of whom play a vital role in supporting student success and preparing graduates to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare field.
